Nedra Belle Seagly, 102, Bismarck, N.D., formerly of Kendallville, Ind., died Monday, September 9, 2013, in Bismarck, N.D.
She was born July 6, 1911, on a farm in LaGrange County, to George and Pauline North.
She graduated from high school in South Milford and was a Sunday School teacher and held many offices at Faith United Methodist Church.
She was married June 18, 1933 to Elmer Seagly, her best friend since grade school. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Marilyn (Bill) Strutz, Bismarck, N.D.; three grandchildren, Heidi (Brad) Mitchell, Liberty Township, Ohio, Colin (Lisa) Strutz, Monument, Colo., and Nat P. (Becky) Strutz, Bismarck, N.D.; eight great-grandchildren, Robert, Nashville, Tenn., Tovey and Andrew Forbes, Charleston, N.C., Rachael, Caitlin, Ashton, Landon, Alex and Ella; one brother, Jack (Betty) North, Wolcottville; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Saturday, September 14, at Faith United Methodist Church in Kendallville, Ind.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 14, at Faith United Methodist Church in Kendallville, Ind.
Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville, Ind.
