Nathan Lumbard sentenced to six years in prison

Nathan Lumbard, 30, of Howe, was sentence last Wednesday to six years in prison in connection with a 2009 incident.

The sentence was part of a plea agreement with LaGrange County prosecutors on two counts of criminal recklessness, a Class C felony, for battering two men.

LaGrange County Circuit Court Judge J. Scott VanDerbeck sentence Lumbard to six years for each count, with the sentences to run concurrently.

Lumbard will begin serving the six-year sentence when he is released from a federal prison for using a false name and passport fraud.
