Former Howe resident Nathan Lumbard returned to LaGrange County Monday to appear in court on several felony counts.
Lumbard is currently serving a sentence in federal prison in Kentucky on charges related to his flight to Southeast Asia to avoid criminal charges.
The charges included Battery with a Deadly Weapon, a Class B Felony, and three counts of Criminal Recklessness Causing Serious Bodily Harm, each a Class C Felony.
In court, Lumbard pled guilty to two counts of criminal recklessness. The plea agreement calls for a sentence of six years, served concurrently.
LaGrange County Circuit Court Judge Scott VanDerbeck took the agreement under advisement, with sentencing scheduled for June 5.
