Natalie Dawn Kauffman, 22, Witmer Lake in Wolcottville, died Friday, October 18, 2013 at her residence.
She was born October 14, 1991, in Kendallville, Ind., to David and Karen (Post) Kauffman.
Living all her life in the area, she was a 2010 graduate of Lakeland High School and a junior in the nursing program at IPFW.
Natalie enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hiking, camping, and boating. She dearly loved her niece and nephew and her dog, Gracie, who was her best friend and companion.
Also surviving are her parents, David and Karen Kauffman, Witmer Lake; one sister and brother-in-law, Nicole L. and Jeremy Diehl, Witmer Lake; one brother, Nathan D. Kauffman, Indianapolis, Ind.; one nephew, Maddux D. Diehl; one niece, Macailah A. Diehl; special friend Craig Hess, Wolcottville; and her dog, Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eli and Bertha Kauffman and Jim and Sylvia Post.
Funeral services were held Monday, October 21, at Maple Grove Church in Topeka with Reverend Harold Gingerich officiating.
Burial is in Maple Grove Cemetery.
