Myrtle Wright

Myrtle Irene Wright, 94, Henderson, Nev., formerly of White Pigeon, Mich., died Friday, December 30, 2012 at Emirtus of Las Vegas, Nev.

She was born January 26, 1917, in White Pigeon, Mich., to Cleveland and Alta (Wegley) Bixler.

Moving from White Pigeon, Mich., to Henderson, Nev., in 1991, she was a waitress and grocery store clerk during her early life and worked in the office at the Constantine Creamery for 25 years. She was a member of the White Pigeon United Methodist Church.

She was married October 13, 1942, in Constantine, Mich., to Donald C. Wright. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1991.

Surviving are one son, LaMar (Lynn) Wright, Henderson, Nev.; one daughter, Nadine (Jim) Laird, Titusville, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Willadean (Tom) Warble, Howe; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Virginia Wright, four sisters, and two brothers.

Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, Mich.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, Mich., with Reverend Scott Manning and Reverend Mary Blashill officiating.

Burial will be in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to White Pigeon United Methodist Church.
