Two people were injured when two vehicles collided on SR 120 near north CR 800E Monday.
According to the police report, James Bricker, 62, of Union, Mich., was driving a truck westbound on US 20 when his vehicle crested a hill and encountered a stopped westbound truck pulling a livestock trailer that was attempting to turn into a drive. Bricker locked the brakes up, causing him to lose control of his vehicle and skid 180 degrees.
An eastbound vehicle driven by Nora Kiefer, 49, of Bremen, Ind., was hit by Bricker’s truck. Kiefer was treated for neck and shoulder pain while a passenger in her vehicle, Aida Stewart, 51, also of Bremen, Ind., was treated for neck pain.
The Shipshewana Fire Department and Noble County EMS assisted at the scene.
