Mildred A. Burmingham, 75, Shipshewana, died Friday, January 4, 2013 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
She was born February 2, 1937, in Paragould, Alaska, to Ernest and Effie (Brown) Caldwell.
She worked as a machinist at the Detroit Coil Company in Franfurt, Mich., retiring in 2000 after over 30 years of service.
She married Cletis Burmingham. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2001.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Laura Burmingham, Wyoming, Mich.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela and James Denune, Shipshewana, and Mary and Philip Czarnecki, Manistee, Mich.; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Emma Hayes, DeMotte, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sons, Cletis and Jackie Burmingham.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in LaGrange.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in LaGrange with Reverend Sandra Hutchins officiating.
Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange is in charge of arrangements.
