Milburn O. Norris, 92, LaGrange, died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
He was born August 8, 1919, in LaGrange, to Jacob E. and Elta (Mehl) Norris.
He was a farmer most of his life and a bus driver for Westview schools for 16 years. He also worked at Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange. He was a member of the First Church of God in LaGrange and the Knights of Pythias #171. He was also a volunteer at the Food and Clothes Basket.
He was married in 1949 to Marilynn Kurtz. She preceded him in death in 1972. He was married February 2, 1975 to Lois Mason Lantz. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters – Rebecca and Bret Brown, Hamilton, Ind., and Linda and Danny Jones, Syracuse, Ind.; one son, Jerry and Christine Lantz, Bowling Green, Ky.; two granddaughters, Jennifer Derry, Kendallville, Ind., and Clarissa Cleckner, Hamilton, Ind.; four grandsons, Ryan Cline, Hamilton, Ind., Dakota Brown, Hamilton, Ind., Patrick McDonald, Syracuse, Ind., and Gary McDonald, Albion, Ind.; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Mrs. (Franklin) Marcia Clements and Kathryn Lantz, two brothers, Walter Norris and Linton Norris, two sisters, Nedra Wolfe and Lucinda Schermerhorn, and one great-grandson, Brandon Brown.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22, at LaGrange First Church of God with Pastor Brian VanOsdol officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.
