Shortly after 8 p.m. on November 29, an officer from the LaGrange Police Department stopped a 2002 Dodge Caravan for a traffic violation on US 20 east of LaGrange.
According to the police report, assistance was requested from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department K9 unit after the stop. A positive alert on the stopped vehicle was given by K9 Kayla. Marijuana, paraphernalia, methamphetamine, and a hypodermic needle used to inject meth were allegedly found inside the vehicle.
Joshua Scott Adams, 31, of Middlebury was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a hypodermic needle.
