Melvin J. Lambright, 90, formerly of Middlebury and Millersburg, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Courtyard of Goshen.
He was born March 2, 1922, in LaGrange County, to Jacob J. and Fannie (Yoder) Lambright.
He was a farmer, worked at Universal for 20 years and Forest River for 20 years, and was a member of Clinton Brick Mennonite Church.
He was married July 18, 1947, in Elkhart County, to Nancy Miller. She preceded him in death on September 28, 2007.
Surviving are two daughters, Zoann (Abe) Beachy, Millersburg, and Judy (Norman) Beachy, Middlebury; one son, Mike (Ronda) Lambright, New Paris, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Theda Miller, two sons, Merlin and Gary Lambright, three sisters, Clara, Elsie and Wilma Miller, and six brothers, Jerry, Tobe, Ammon, Ed, Milton and Freeman Lambright.
Services were held Thursday, June 21, at Townline Mennonite Church in Shipshewana with Reverend Stan Godfrey and Reverend Lin Otto officiating.
Burial is in Yoder Cemetery, Shipshewana.
