Melissa Ann Mishler,39, Burr Oak, Mich., died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Mich.
She was born September 8, 1974, in Battle Creek, Mich., to Donald Duane and Judy Mae (Anthony) Johnson.
Living all her life in Burr Oak, Mich., she was a 1992 graduate of Burr Oak High School and worked at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis for five years. She was a member of the Burr Oak Missionary Church.
She was married June 19, 1999, at Marion Mennonite Church in Howe, to William Mishler. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Christina “Tina” Johnson, Burr Oak, Mich.; one son, Michael Mishler, at home; her parents, Donald and Judy Johnson, Burr Oak, Mich.; one sister: Angela K. Regan, Monroe, Tenn.; one brother, Franklin E. Johnson, Burr Oak, Mich.; her grandmothers, Goldie Anthony and Donna Sweet, both of Burr Oak, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Harold F. Johnson and Frank E. Anthony.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes in Sturgis, Mich.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes in Sturgis, Mich., with Reverend George Milliman officiating.
Burial will be in Burr Oak Cemetery, Burr Oak, Mich.
