Mattie D. Miller, 60, Shipshewana, died Friday, September 28, 2012 at her residence.
She was born September 7, 1952, in Topeka, to David and Susie (Yoder) Petersheim.
She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married March 21, 1974, in Wolcottville, to Levi E. Miller. He survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Sue Anna (Harvey) Schrock, LaGrange, Mary Ellen (John) Yoder, Shipshewana, Carolyn L. (Kenneth) Yoder, Topeka, and Edna Fern (Perry) Miller, Topeka; two sons, Marion (Miriam) Miller and Richard (Janita) Miller, both of Shipshewana; 20 grandchildren; four sisters, Mary (Harley) Miller, LaGrange, Ida (Orva) Graber, Shipshewana, Ada (Nelson) Miller, LaGrange, and Edna Hochstetler, Wolcottville; and three brothers, Menno (Inez) Petersheim, Shipshewana, Ezra (Mary) Petersheim, Cambria, Wisc., and Jake (Dorothy) Petersheim, Wolcottville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law, Jacob Hochstetler, and a sister-in-law, Ida Petersheim.
Services were held Monday October 1, at the Dean Bontrager residence, 8725W SR 120 in Shipshewana with home ministers officiating.
Burial is in Lehman Cemetery, Shipshewana.
