Mary Jane Dickinson, 94, LaGrange, died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
She was born October 20, 1914, in Ft. Wayne, Ind., to Oscar and Gladys (Stewart) Ebey.
Moving from Wolf Lake, Ind., to LaGrange County in 1947, she worked in the meat department at the Wolcottville IGA from 1955-1976. She was a member of Wolcottville United Methodist Church and the Naomi Circle at the church. She also volunteered for many years at the LaGrange County Clothes and Food Basket.
She was married November 20, 1947, in Albion, Ind., to Lewis H. Dickinson. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2008.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Kris Dickinson, LaGrange; two grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Brent N. and Bethany Dickinson, Lafayette, Ind., and Jason D. and CiJai Dickinson, Wolcottville; two great-grandsons, Malachi L. Dickinson and Wyatt C. Dickinson; one sister, Margaret Murphy, Columbia City, Ind.; and one brother, Ottnel Ebey, Wolcottville.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Reverend Denise Heller officiating.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.
