A nuisance hearing concerning the property of Marlin Knepp located on Old US 20 west of the Shore Mennonite Church was reconvened Monday.
Ordinance Compliance Officer Jason Boggs reported to commissioners that “tremendous progress” has been made at the property. “At this point, I am very satisfied with the progress that has been made,” he said.
Boggs reported that Knepp had been involved in a serious accident while at work about a month ago. “He was hospitalized for a while as a result of the accident. His fellow church members have helped to remedy the situation.”
Commissioner Larry Miller remarked that neighbors are happy with the progress. “We certainly thank you for your efforts,” he continued.
The hearing was adjourned until 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 2. At that time it is expected there will be a final closing on the matter.
