Marjorie M. Jaggers-Brees, 70, Hudson, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at Parkview Hospital in Ft. Wayne.
She was born November 17, 1941, in Elizabethtown, Ky., to Phillip Ray and Sarah Helen (Thornberry) Skees.
She was a homemaker and student aide for Prairie Heights School Corporation. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaGrange.
She was married June 5, 1970, in Laredo, Texas, to Westley Brees. He survives.
Also surviving are five daughters and four sons-in-law, Rhonda Brees, Las Vegas, Nev., Theresa and Dave Meyers, Angola, Tammy and Kimm Hunt, Cabot, Ark., Tonya and Roger Domer, LaGrange, and Donna and Matt Lorntz, Hudson; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Rick and Shelley Brees, Henderson, Nev., and Randy Brees, St. George, Utah; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Eugene Jaggers, one sister, and four brothers.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 26, with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaGrange with Father Andy Martinez officiating.
Burial will be in Wright Cemetery, rural Hudson.
