Marion Yoder

Marion H. Yoder, 59, Goshen, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the scene of a car/buggy accident at the intersection of CR 31 and CR 38 in Goshen.

He was born August 25, 1952, in Goshen, to Harry A. and Sarah H. (Miller) Yoder.

He was self-employed and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

He was married July 22, 1976 to Edith Irene Yoder. She survives.

Also surviving are his mother, Sarah H. Miller, Goshen; five daughters, Barbara (John) Bontrager, Ligonier, Velda (Mike) Miller, Topeka, Wanda (Lyle) Hochstetler, Topeka, Marlene (Chris) Gingerich, Goshen, and Jolene M. Yoder, Syracuse; six sons, Lavon (Esther) Yoder, Shipshewana, Harry Wayne (Esther) Yoder, Goshen, Freeman (Beth) Yoder, Shipshewana, Cletus (Edna) Yoder, Montgomery, Andy Yoder, at home,  and his special friend Kara Fry, Marion Yoder Jr., at home, and special friend Pauline Miller; 30 grandchildren; six sisters, Marilyn (Elmer) Miller, Goshen, Carolyn (Perry) Miller, Goshen, Ruth Ann Otto, Middlebury, Laura (Dean) Gingerich, Middlebury, Linda Sue Yoder, Goshen, and Edith (Lyle) Miller, Millersburg; three brothers, Howard (Wilma) Yoder of Middlebury, Raymond (Esther) Yoder and Wayne (Doretta) Yoder both of Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry A. Yoder, and a brother-in-law, Dave Otto.

Services were held Monday, December 19, at the Sam Miller residence, 14704 CR 28 in Goshen, with Bishop Dan Schwartz and Home Ministers officiating.

Burial is in Miller Cemetery, Goshen.
