Marilyn Ponder, 72, Wolcottville, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at her residence.
She was born August 4, 1939, in Delphos, Ohio, to George A. and Rose M. (Heising) Suever.
She was a graduate of Wolcottville High School, a clerk and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Gaspar Catholic Church in Rome City.
She was married February 18, 1970, in Ft. Wayne, to Bill W. Ponder. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dave Sewell, Wolcottville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tony and Amber Jones, Franklin, and Kevin and Jill Jones, Kendallville; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Tom and Sharon Decker, Huntertown, and Diane Daggett, Lawrence, Kan.; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Marilyn Suever, Wolcottville; a sister-in-law, Sue Suever, Marion; a brother-in-law, John Ponder, Ft. Wayne; seven grandchildren, Aaron Jones, Nathan Jones, Cortney Jones, Clayton Jones, Holly Jones, Gentry and Christine Warner, Lauren Sewell and Timmy Newsome; and three great-grandchildren, Zander Warner, Benjamin Warner, and Bradley Newsome.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 26, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel with Pastor Mark Suever officiating.
Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.
