Marilyn Sue Alford, 60, Angola, Ind., died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her residence.
She was born August 13, 1952, in Angola, Ind., to James and Mary (Book) Walcutt.
She worked on the Steuben County EMS for 18 years, State Farm Insurance, Farm Bureau Insurance, and was on the Salem Center Fire Department. She was a member of SonLight Community Church in Angola and West Otter Lake Lake Association and was on the Jackson Township Board of Trustees.
She was married June 27, 1970 to Marvin G. Alford. He survives.
Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Michael G. and Tracie Alford, Hudson, Ind.; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle S. and Mark Rheinheimer, Orland; three grandchildren, Emily Rheinheimer, Sarah Rheinheimer and Katie Rheinheimer; three brothers and sisters-in-law Jim and Carol Walcutt, Churubusco, Ind., Jerry and Helene Walcutt, Angola, Ind., and Jack and Wanda Walcutt, Huntertown, Ind.; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Judy and Raymond Oliver, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Melanie Pardue, Ashley, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, February 22, at SonLight Community Church in Angola.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 23, at SonLight Community Church in Angola, Ind., with Pastor Jason Rains officiating.
