Margie P. Day, 90, LaGrange, died Monday, September 2, 2013 at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
She was born December 19, 1922, in Mongo, to Harley and Edna (Gochenaur) Haag.
She was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran.
She was married February 14, 1953, in Lapaz, Ind., to John Day. He survives.
Also surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sandy Day, Ontario; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Danielle and Stephen Loveland, South Milford, Ind., Johnnetta, Ontario, and Tammaria and Robert Williams Jr., Howe; seven grandchildren, Mark and Matthew Kline, Jason Day, Kaylan Harper, Griffin Day, and Conner and Hunter Williams; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Morgan and Hayden Kline; one brother, Ralph Day, Marcellus, Ind.; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Donald Wilson, Woodburn, Ind., Janet and Harvey Miller, LaGrange, and Jeanette Sisson, LaGrange.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Laurine Myers, Dorothy Devlin, Doris Harker and Jean Frutig, and three brothers, Harley Haag Jr., Delbert “Sam” Haag, and Bud Haag.
Graveside service will be at a later date in Ontario Cemetery.
