Man charged arrested after altercation

On July 15, 2012 the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to Fox wood hills campground for a possible stabbing. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the caller who stated that he was in a physical altercation with the neighbors at lot 300, and he was stabbed in the face. The caller had a small, deep cut to the cheek area, but refused medical attention with EMS. Officers approached the other parties involved and all parties involved admitted to the battery. Duane Vier was transported to the LaGrange County jail for battery; David Baker was transported to Parkview LaGrange for medical treatment and then booked into the LaGrange County jail for an outstanding warrant. Charges for Kim Vier will be filed with the LaGrange County Prosecutors office at a later date for their review.
