Mable Irene Andrews, 93, Howe, died Monday, November 25, 2013 at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange.
She was born November 22, 1920, in Ontario, Ind., to Arthur L and Mary Elizabeth (Smeltzley) Cain.
Living all her life in LaGrange County, she was a 1938 graduate of Lima High School in Howe. She worked at Sturgis Newport Printing and Dometic Corporation in LaGrange. She was a member of Lima Presbyterian Church and was active in the Ladies Church Circle.
She was married May 25, 1939, in Kendallville, Ind., to Doyle R. Andrews. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1995.
Surviving are one daughter, Andrea Thomason, Howe; one son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Terry Andrews, Howe; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Vera Flesher, Pinson, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Roger Allen, James Edward and Stanley Eric Andrews, one sister, Pansy Polly, and one brother, Howard Cain.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday November 29, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 30, at Lima Presbyterian Church in Howe with Reverend Dave Hughes officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Howe.
