Lorine Sizemore, 86, Wolcottville, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne.
She was born November 5, 1925, in Tazwell, Tenn., to Hobert and Minnie (Green) Sulfridge.
Moving from Kentucky to the area in 1952, she was a homemaker.
She was married March 2, 1943 to Ethelbert “Hoover” Sizemore. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1976.
Surviving are four daughters, Pauline Sizemore, Avilla, Alva Jordan, Avilla, Cheryl (Pat) Barrett, Leo, and Myrlee (Wilton) Gray, Rome City; two sons, Rod (Karen) Sizemore, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Robert Sizemore, Wolcottville; a daughter-in-law, Mary Sizemore, Kendallville; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline (L.G.) Martin, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Patricia Kriege, Cincinnati, Ohio; and two brothers, Bill (Joyce) Sulfridge, Berea, Ky., and Gene (Bobbie) Sulfridge, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Nevil Sizemore and Joe Sizemore, an infant daughter, Sharon G. Sizemore, a daughter-in-law, Jeannie Sizemore, a son-in-law, Charles Jordan Sr., one brother, Jack Sulfridge, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, at Young Family Funeral Home Wolcottville Chapel with Pastor James Archambeault officiating.
Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery.
