Genealogy assistance...

Volunteers from the LaGrange County Genealogical Society are available every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Genealogy Department of the LaGrange County Public Library on Spring St. to help the public with family history questions and challenges.

Internet for beginners...

An Internet for Beginners class will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, at the LaGrange library. Registration is required by stopping at the LaGrange Reference Desk or call 260-463-2841 ext. 1030.

Even if you’ve never used a computer before, you can learn how to use the internet in this simple, relaxed class. The class will cover everything from pointing and clicking to using Google.

Book club to meet...

The Second Saturday Book Club will meet at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, in the LaGrange library.

This month’s book being discussed is Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card.

The book club is open to anyone age 16 and older who wishes to attend.

iPad discussion group...

The next meeting of the iPad discussion group will be from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, March 11. Bring your iPad to the LaGrange library and share tips, tricks, and favorite apps. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Items wanted...

The new library has secure, lighted display cases perfect for exhibiting artwork, crafts, collectibles, and antiques. Anyone willing to loan these items to the library is asked to contact April at 260-463-2841.

Reading challenge deadline...

Saturday, March 2 is the last day to turn in Winter Reading Challenge entry forms. Turn in your entry form before closing time to be eligible for the grand prize quilt drawing.
