Holidayschedule...

    The LaGrange County Public Library on Spring St. in LaGrange will be open from 9 a.m. until noon on Good Friday, April 6.

    The Topeka and Shipshewana branches will be closed on Good Friday, April 6.

Intro to Windows 7...

    A free computer class, Introduction to Windows 7, will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10, at the Shipshewana Branch Library.

    This is a free class for absolute beginners. Space is limited, so register by calling 260-463-2841 ext. 1030 or stop in at the main library on Spring St. in LaGrange.

Learn to knit...

    A Learn to Knit class for ages 12 and up will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, at the LaGrange County Library on Spring St.

    Participants will learn how to knit, purl, cast on, and cast off. A small donation is requested to cover cost of materials. Participants will receive a skein of yarn and a set of knitting needles to keep.

    Register at the reference desk of the main library on Spring St. in LaGrange by April 20.

Book clubs to meet...

    The Sci-Fi Book Club will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 2, at the main library on Spring St. in LaGrange. The book for discussion is Friday by Robert A. Heinlein.

    The Second Saturday Book Club will meet at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, at Iannarelli’s Italian Restaurant on the town square in Howe. The book for discussion is The Enchanted April by Elizabeth von Arnim.
