Levi J. Miller, 86, Goshen, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Greencroft Healthcare.
He was born September 28, 1925, in Allen County, to John and Rozina (Zehr) Miller.
Living all his life in the area, he was a carpenter and co-founded and managed Miller Building Supply. He was a member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Goshen and the Mennonite Historical Society.
He was married March 3, 1958, in Sarasota, Fla., to Fanny L. Peachey. She preceded him in death on August 15, 2006.
Surviving are two daughters, Rosann (Dean) Burkholder, Goshen, and Sarah (DeWayne) Miller-Bontrager, Topeka; one son, Michael (Jana) Z. Miller, Indianapolis, Ind.; three grandchildren, John Michael Miller, Marita Miller, and Lauren Bontrager; one brother, Elmer (Norma) Miller, Goshen; and one sister, Esther (Sam) Bontrager, Middlebury.
He was preceded in death by one son, John Mark Miller, and eight siblings, Katie Ann Miller, David J. Miller, Lydia Chupp, Mattie Bontrager, Mary J. Miller, Menno Miller, Joseph J. Miller and Amos J. Miller.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m., Monday, February 20, at The Meetinghouse at Greencroft in Goshen and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, at Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Goshen.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 21, at Pleasant View Mennonite Church in Goshen with Pastor Ron Diener officiating.
Burial will be in Clinton Brick Cemetery, Goshen.
