Supervisors and staff of
LaGrange County SWCD
To the Editor:
On Thursday, March 6, 2014, the LaGrange County Soil and Water Conservation District held their 62nd annual meeting.
The supervisors and staff of the LaGrange SWCD want to thank the many businesses and individuals that made our annual meeting a success. Sponsors included Farmer’s State Bank, Edd’s Supply, Farm Credit Services, and People’s Federal Savings Bank. Door prize contributors included Stroh Farm Supply, South Milford Grain, LaGrange County REMC, GreenMark Equipment, Wible U-Pick Hardwoods, Pheasants Forever Chapter 592, BIL Enterprises, Bontrager Feed Services, Lima Elevator, Cross-Road Farms, Archbold Equipment, Topeka New Holland, and Mahlon Dunkel.
The excellent dinner was catered by Tony and Cheri Reigling of Grossman’s Restaurant and the delectable desserts were provided by Rose Mary Miller. LaGrange First United Methodist Church provided the portable sound system.
A special thank you goes to Junior Collins and the 4-H Fair Board for the use of the LaGrange County 4-H Fair Community Building. Our dedicated SWCD supporters Mike Dirig, Bob Anderson, and Mahlon Dunkel helped with the table setup.
It is truly a blessing that LaGrange County SWCD has so many businesses and individuals that help us serve LaGrange County with a wide variety of conservation and natural resource practices. Thank you for your continued support.
