President and CEO
To the Editor:
The board and staff of the LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation (LCEDC ) would like to thank all of the LaGrange County businesses who donated or gave us greatly discounted items for our recent Memorial Day marketing package that we sent out to 40 companies across the country.
The LCEDC and our business community work hand-in-hand to further the economic opportunities for LaGrange County and our communities. One of the ways that we do this is to market our community to outside corporate real estate and site selection firms – the folks that companies looking to expand hire to help them find a place to put their businesses. This year’s mailer included items themed around a Memorial Day cookout and featured the following businesses:
Plyley’s Candies – candy;
Cook’s Bison Ranch – bison jerky and a coupon redeemable for fresh products;
E&S Sales – seasonings;
Scherger’s Kettle – hot pepper jam;
Riegsecker’s Blue Gate – Amish peanut butter;
JoJo’s Pretzels – Hot mustard;
Red Bud Gift and Tea Shop – iced tea blend;
Weaver Dutch Country Seasonings – meat rubs;
We also included a centerpiece – a miniature handmade table, based upon a design from West Point Woodworking, made by D&I Hardwoods, routed at Scott Custom Routing, and finished at Spectrum Finishing.
We really appreciate the support of these businesses in helping us pull this together! Make sure you check all of these great businesses out, and to find out more about the LCEDC, visit our website at www.lagrange countyedc.com, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or just give us a call at 260-499-4994.
