To the Editor:

The Howe Lions Club wishes to thank the community, sponsors and volunteers for helping to make the June 22 Howe Ice Cream Social and Raffle a success. A special thanks goes out to the spouses of Howe Lions Club members, who pitched in wherever needed and baked some great pies and cakes. Thanks also to Happiness is Ice Cream for providing the ice cream.

The following sponsors provided prizes for our fundraising raffle: Lund International, Truman Miller, Twin Mills Campground, Bowersox Floor Center, Sturgis Wal-Mart, Mishler Packing Co., Kingsbury House Gallery, Fiebig Jewelry, Eash Sales, Roger’s Barber Shop, Howe Travel Plaza, Howe School, Meyer’s Automotive, Preferred Automotive Group, Cottin’s Hardware, King Dragon Buffet, Car Quest, Flagstar Bank, Cranberry Cottage, Gateway Kitchens, Trading Post Canoe Kayak and Campground, LaGrange County Dodge, Parlins Furniture, Fillmore Equipment, Head Over Heels, Boland Tire, Sturges Young Auditorium, Stopher King Studio, Kickstand Cycle and Fitness, Farmers State Bank, Lima Elevator, Cedar Lake Golf Club, Arrowhead Popcorn, Sigrists Furniture, Sturgis Journal, Raber Patio Enclosure, Happiness is Ice Cream, Clayton’s Custom Auto Body, Schlemmer Hardware, Willer’s Shoes, Heron Creek Golf Course, Foltz Bakery, LaGrange Pizza Hut, Will Yancy, SAS Auto Service, Lambright Country Chimes, Sturgis Hot-n-Now, Krogers, Norm’s Antiques and Collectibles, Howe Restaurant, Mr. Bratz, and Iannerelli’s Italian Restaurant.
