Just had to share some happy news about the good people helping us around these days.
We read so much about violence going on that we feel down; but thank goodness for the other side of the story.
Two weeks ago I was having a time putting up Christmas lights on a garland on my porch, when in drove some cousins. They came up and said, “Where are your lights, and where do you want them? We will put them up. You go inside where it’s warm.” They already have helped about seven other senior citizens, getting greens and berries and decorating for folks.
Also, a fine young man across the street told me I should not be shoveling snow. He said he would do it for me this winter.
As Paul Harvey used to say, “This is the rest of the story.” It’s Christmas time.
