Leon Jay Yoder, 27, Shipshewana, died Sunday, September 1, 2013 while on a weekend vacation with his siblings at Waubee Lake in Milford.
He was born June 25, 1986, in Sturgis, Mich., to Jonas and Margaret (Yoder) Yoder. They survive.
He had most recently worked at Jayco.
Also surviving are four sisters, Waneta (David) Bontrager, Middlebury, Ruth (Toby) Yoder, Topeka, Rosetta (Lynn) Miller, Millersburg, and Sarah (Joe) Miller, Middlebury; two brothers, Arlin Ray Yoder and Alvin Dean Yoder, both of Shipshewana; seven nephews; five nieces; his grandmother, Emma Marie Yoder, LaGrange; 10 aunts; and nine uncles.
He was preceded in death by one aunt, Magdalena Yoder, one uncle, Samuel Yoder, and grandparents Phineas and Wilma Yoder and Jacob Yoder.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, and all day Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the family residence, 4055 W. SR 120 in Shipshewana.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, at the family residence, 4055W SR 120 in Shipshewana with Bishop LaVern Raber and home ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Scott-Seybert Cemetery, Shipshewana.
