As summer rolls in, the LaGrange Communities Youth Centers, Inc. is kicking it off right with a summer day camp for student in grades 2-7.
The camp will offer three week-long sessions. During the weeks of June 25th-29th and July 23rd- 27th two sessions will be available for students in grades 5-7. Students are only permitted to attend one of the sessions.
A camp session for students in grades 2-4 will be offered during the week of July 16th- 20th.
Each session of this summer day camp is free for students and includes transportation from designated bus stops and free lunches each day. The camp will meet in different locations depending on the day’s activities.
The goal of the LCYC is to provide the youth of this community an opportunity to continue learning and having fun after the school year has ended.
Registration for these camps is available in the school office, County Library, or in the LCYC office located on the 2nd floor of the County Courthouse. These forms are also available for download online at the LCYC website: Lagrangecommunitiesyouthcenters.weebly.com.
For more information you are encouraged to contact the LCYC office at (260) 499-6359. As school comes to a close, the LCYC hopes to continue to provide positive experiences to the youth of this community.
The LCYC is able to offer this opportunity free to all eligible youth thanks to grants from the LaGrange County Community Foundation, REMC Operation Round-up, and L.I.F.E.
