Laker boys tennis team competes at Fremont Invite

Four Lakeland boys tennis entries took home third-place ribbons from Saturday’s Fremont Invitational.

Austin Buonocore and Christian Roose each took third in their singles divisions. Buonocore trimmed Matt Krites of Fort Wayne Snider, 6-2, 6-1 in his consolation match. Roose handled Snider’s Austin Votaw, 6-3, 7-5.

Anthony Combs and Ian Sonner bested the Snider combo of Brian Blackwell and Camden McKuras, 6-3, 6-1 to take third place in the No. 1 doubles group.
