Spencer Mortola tickled the twine for 19 points in powering Lakeland to a 52-44 victory over Churubusco in the consolation round of the NECC boys basketball tournament last Thursday night.
Chandler Mynhier swished 10 points for the Lakers, who improved to 3-9 with their win over the Eagles.
Landon Pence put in 12 points and Brent Simmons had 11 for Churubusco.
