Lakeland split a pair of NECC boys tennis decisions earlier this week, bringing its overall season mark to 2-3.
Tuesday night, the Lakers shaded the visiting Eagles of Churubusco, 3-2. Singles wins by Bret Balka and Dalton Svhmidt, along with a doubles triumph forged by Sam Miller and Ian Sonner provided Lakeland with its winning points.
West Noble traveled to LaGrange Wednesday afternoon and dealt the Lakers a 4-1 defeat. Blake Balka and Robbie Arend combined to score the lone Lakeland victory, as they won the No. 1 doubles match.
