Lakeland School Corporation is conducting its annual search for kindergarten students. Parents or guardians are asked to contact their local school by April 23 to pre-enroll any child entering school next fall. Children must be five years of age on or before Aug. 1, 2012 to enroll in Kindergarten.
Parents or guardians of children living in Lima and Greenfield townships should call Lima-Brighton Elementary School at 499-2440. The school will hold roundup from 6-7 p.m. on April 24.
Parents or guardians living in Bloomfield and Eastern Clay townships should call Parkside Elementary School at 499-2430. The school will hold roundup from 7-8 p.m. on April 23.
Parents or guardians of children living in Johnson Township and Noble County to the south edge of Wolcottville should call Wolcott Mills Elementary School at 499-2450. The school will hold roundup from 6-7 p.m. on April 25.
Information for enrolling students will be given to parents or guardians at roundup. Parents or guardians and their Kindergarten child should attend this meeting. Child care will not be provided for other children. Parents or guardians should bring the Kindergarten child’s birth certificate and complete immunization records to roundup. The school must have copies of these documents before a child can attend Kindergarten.
