Lakeland goes 2-1 in boys cross country

Lakeland went 2-1 in a varsity boys cross country meet held Tuesday afternoon at Westview.

The Lakers scored wins over the host Warriors (16-47) and Bethany Christian (15-50). They fell to Northridge (20-40).

Joseph Trost paced the Lakeland pack with a third-place effort of 17:01. Eric Herber finished fifth in 17:16 and Andrew Duzan took ninth position in 18:12.

Blake O’Dell and James Bradberry claimed the top two finishing slots for Northridge, with O’Dell stopping the clock at 16:53 and Bradberry at 16:54.

Brock Miller led Westview in the race, placing 13th overall in 19:17. The Warriors lost to Northridge (15-50), but defeated Bethany (20-50).
