Lakeland girls stomp Hamilton

Lakeland hung on to beat Hamilton, 65-60 in NECC boys basketball Wednesday night in LaGrange.

Chandler Mynhier and Eric Herber each tallied 11 points to pace a nine-player scoring attack for Coach Scott LaPlace’s Lakers, who improved to 2-4 in league play and to 4-7 overall. Mynhier also led the winners in rebounds with eight and Herber topped the steals chart with four.

Addison Stephens netted 23 points and Casey Rote 17 for the Marines, now 1-3 in the NECC and 5-6 overall.
