Lakeland finished sixth out of 20 teams at the Lafayette Jefferson Invitational boys golf tournament played this past Saturday at the Battleground Golf Course.
Cody Richardson and Spencer Mortola each fired rounds of 78 to pace the Lakers, who finished with a team count of 327 strokes. Isaac Kilgore came in with an 83, Jordan Aldrich carded an 88 and Zac Paxson had a 93.
Hamilton Southeastern, led by the 75’s of Tyler Davis and Graham McArree, won the team championship with a score of 306. Warsaw and Indianapolis Cathedral tied for second with 318’s.
Quentyn Carpenter of Triton earned medalist honors with a 73. Jon Williams of Cathedral was second with a 74.
