Lakeland boys netters edge Central Noble

Lakeland earned its second and third varsity boys tennis wins of the season this past week.

Last Tuesday, the Lakers edged Central Noble, 3-2 in NECC play. Straight-set wins by Dalton Schmidt at No. 1 singles and the doubles teams of Ian Sonner-Sam Miller and Anthony Combs-Christian Roose secured the three LHS markers.

The Howe School traveled to Lakeland Friday afternoon and was dispatched by the Lakers, 5-0. Combs and Roose combined to down their Wildcat foes by a 6-0, 6-0 count.
