Austin Keckler belted a home run as Lakeland powered past Eastside, 7-2 in NECC baseball play Tuesday night in Butler.
Morgan Moore, Dustin Cunningham and Kyle Casper each chipped in two hits to the Laker attack. Cunningham also scored twice, while Moore and Casper collected an RBI.
Jalen Priestley pitched the initial 5.2 innings for the Lakers to earn the win. He allowed 10 hits, struckout eight and walked one. Keckler came on with two outs in the sixth to garner a save.
The win over the Blazers was the second in the NECC for the Lakers, who stand 3-8 overall.
