LaGrange woman sent to hospital after Middlebury accident

A Sunday crash near Middlebury resulted in a trip to the hospital for a LaGrange woman.

According to reports, Patricia Mast, 21, was a passenger in a vehicle that was rear-ended on US 20 at CR 31.

Mast was taken to Goshen Hospital for treatment for back and leg pain.

According Elkhart County Police, a vehicle driven by Jonah Eash, 21, of Syracuse had slowed to turn left onto CR 31 when it was struck from behind.

Eash was also transported to the hospital due to back pain and a cut to the head.

The other vehicle was driven by Norman Conner, 76, of Parker, Penn. He was not injured.

Conner was cited for following too closely.
