LaGrange Water Works releases flushing schedule

This coming week, hydrants and blow-offs lying north, south, east and west of the corporate limits of LaGrange will be flushed.

Residents can expect intermittent reduced water pressure and possibly minor cloudy water on the days and in the areas scheduled to be flushed.

    The schedule is as follows:

Sunday, Sept. 29 – SR 9 (Detroit St.) from US 20 (Central Ave.) to Factory St., also one block west of Detroit St.

Monday, Sept. 30 – That portion of town lying east of Detroit St. (SR 9), and north of Central Ave. (US 20).

Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013 – That portion of town lying west of Detroit St. (SR 9), and north of Central Ave. (US 20).

Wednesday, Oct. 2 – That portion of town lying south of Central Ave. (US 20) and east of Detroit St. (SR 9).

Thursday, Oct. 3 – That portion of town lying south of Central Ave. (US 20) and west of Detroit St. (SR 9).

LaGrange Water Works does this in order to maintain water quality in the large fire mains for domestic use and to test the operability of the fire hydrants.
