The LaGrange County Redevelopment Commission (RDC) voted May 18 to put $12,900 into improvements to CR 200E.
The improvements will start just north of US 20 and run to the corner of CR 25N and include widening that intersection for better semi-truck access.
The resurfacing will be done by the LaGrange County Highway Department, which will cover the cost of labor.
The project was approved by the LaGrange County Commissioners at their Monday morning meeting (see related article).
The RDC approved funding for installation of gas heaters in the water treatment facility at Fawn River Crossing. The switch to gas is expected to result in substantial energy savings for the building.
The RDC also approved vinyl sign wraps for billboard space at Fawn River Crossing.
The RDC approved an engineering study to look at the need for a second entrance at Fawn River Crossing. The idea is to extend the road through the industrial park to the west and then south to join CR 700N at CR 100W. The study is expected to cost $17,000. Funding for the study was approved by the LaGrange County Commissioners and now heads to the LaGrange County Council for approval.
