LaGrange County REMC has announced the recipients of the 2013 LaGrange County REMC Scholarships. This year the cooperative is awarding four $600 scholarships to worthy students of the community whose parents or guardians reside in LaGrange County REMC’s service territory.
Dillon Henschen of Prairie Heights is planning to attend Cedarville University in the fall to earn a degree in electrical engineering. He plans to work in the renewable energy industry. He is the son of Richard and Tammy Henschen of Wolcottville.
Michelle Mowery of Westview is planning on attending Indiana Wesleyan University this fall to earn a degree in nursing. She hopes to work in a hospital as a registered nurse after college. She is the daughter of Jeff and Vicki Mowery of Topeka.
Adam Eaton of Lakeland is planning to attend Anderson University in the fall. He wants to earn a degree in music ministry and would like to become a pastor in the Church of God after college. He is the son of Randy and Sally Eaton of LaGrange.
Jordan Brown of Lakeland plans to attend Hope College this fall and study nursing. She plans to become a registered nurse, specializing in obstetrics, after college. She is the daughter of John and Allisa Brown of LaGrange.
LaGrange County REMC raised scholarship funds at the Slam Dunk for Scholarships basketball game with the LaGrange County Law Enforcement earlier this spring.
