Lady Warriors drub Fremont

Westview kept pace with Fairfield atop the NECC girls basketball standings with a 64-45 triumph over visiting Fremont last Thursday night.

The Lady Warriors out scored Fremont, 40-16 in the middle two periods to seize control of the contest.

Grace Hales piled up 20 points to lead Westview, which improved to 5-0 in league play and to 9-2 overall with the win. Maria McCoy delivered 12 points and six rebounds to the Lady Warrior ledger. Kristen Duff totaled 10 points, seven boards and four assists. Sidney Byrkett had four assists and three steals.

Shae Rhonehouse fired in 19 points, snared seven rebounds and dealt out four assists to spark Fremont. Melissa Beer contributed 10 markers and 10 boards.
