Kent L. Guldin, 55, LaGrange, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at his residence.
He was born March 3, 1957, in LaGrange, to Max I. and Martha A. (Sturgis) Guldin.
Living all his life in LaGrange County, he was a graduate of Lakeland High School and a caregiver at Alternative Lifestyles and ARC Opportunities, Inc. in LaGrange. He had also been a jailer with LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department and a meat cutter. He was a former member of the LaGrange Lions Club and had volunteered at LaGrange County Animal Shelter.
Surviving are his mother, Martha “Peachie” Guldin, LaGrange; one son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Mary Guldin, LaGrange; three grandchildren, Josh, Jake, and Olivia Guldin; and three brothers and one sister-in-law, Kay Guldin, Shipshewana, David and Ann Guldin, Adrian, Mich., and Chad Guldin, Casa Grande, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his father, Max Guldin, and one son, Joshua Guldin.
Visitation is 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Sandra Hutchens and Pastor Thomas McShannock officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Howe.
