Katie Ann Yoder, 95, died Friday, June 20, 2014 at Greencroft Healthcare in Goshen, Ind.
She was born September 23, 1918, in Arthur, Ill., to Daniel and Mattie (Gingerich) Lee.
Living in the area since 1947, she was a homemaker.
She was married June 17, 1937, in Arthur, Ill., to Ray Yoder. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Surviving are five daughters, Lorene (Lloyd) Chupp, Goshen, Ind., Irene (Tony) Helmuth, Goshen, Ind., Ada (Stan) Shopa, Wolcottville, Carolyn Lambright, Elkhart, Ind., and June (Carl) Rheinheimer, Nappanee, Ind.; five sons, Freeman Yoder, Topock, Ariz., Ray Yoder Jr., Lexington, Ky., Wilber (Barb) Yoder, Wolcottville, Bob (Kathy) Yoder, Sun City West, Ariz., and Rick (Sonda) Yoder, Topeka; 20 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason Davidhizar, one granddaughter, Terra Lambright, two sisters, Ada Rogers and Mary Weaver, one brother, Jim Lee, and a daughter-in-law, Joyce Yoder.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Monday, June 23. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen, Ind.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, at New Life Fellowship in Topeka with Reverend Drew Ryall and Reverend Larry Byrnes officiating.
Burial will be in Eden Cemetery, Topeka.
Memorials may be directed to Riley Children’s Hospital.
