Karen I. Kline, 67, Orland, died Friday, April 20, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange.
She was born April 26, 1944, in Angola, to Homer H. and Nellie J. (Lahrman) Sutton.
Moving with her family to Orland when she was one year old, she was a graduate of Orland High School and was a baker and cook at the Prairie Heights Elementary and Middle School cafeterias for approximately 20 years. She was a member of Orland United Methodist Church.
She was married December 4, 1983 to Jeff Kline. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Brent and Shelley Sutton, Orland; three stepchildren, Vicky, Chris, and Beth; four grandchildren, Lance and Jessica Brodock, Trenton Sutton, Brooke Sutton, and Heather Sutton; several stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren, Bishop Sutton and Max Brodock; two sisters, Mary Schaefer, Orland, and Susie Galloway, Mishawaka, Ind.; two brothers, Charles Sutton and Nina Fast, Orland, and David and Anona Sutton, Sturgis, Mich.; two sisters-in-law, Bernadette Sutton and Lulubelle Sutton, both of Orland; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ruth Hale and Norma Peet, two brothers, Richard Sutton and Homer Sutton Jr., two nieces and one granddaughter.
Visitation is5-8 p.m. Monday April 23, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Orland United Methodist Church.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Orland United Methodist Church with Reverend Duane Stidham officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland.
