A Howe teen was reported missing over the weekend, according to a report from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department.
The department received a report Sunday evening from Tony Speicher that his 14-year-old daughter, Heather, was missing.
Speicher told the department that the girl was last seen around 7 a.m. on June 2 walking from a friend’s house at 0050W 575N. She had reportedly stayed with a friend at that location the night before.
According to the police report, Heather had told her father that she was staying at a different location that night.
When she was last seen, she was reportedly walking toward the town park in Howe. Speicher told officers that his wife received a tip later on Sunday that Heather had been seen at the town park in Howe around 4 p.m., but that tip was not confirmed.
As of the time of the report, Heather is thought to be in the Sturgis, Mich., area with another juvenile friend.
Heather is a white female with blue eyes and blond hair. She is approximately 5 ft. 5 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.
Anyone with information on Heather’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the sheriff’s department at 463-7491.
