Judith Kay Bauder,70, White Pigeon, Mich., formerly of Sturgis, Mich., died Monday, November 18, 2013 at the Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers, Mich.
She was born February 16, 1943, in LaGrange County, to Willard J. and Hortense (Parker) Frye.
Living in LaGrange the first 21 years of her life before moving to Michigan, she worked at Miller’s Merry Manor in LaGrange for 14 years and was a press operator at Sturgis Molded Products in Sturgis, Mich. She was an active member of the First Church of God in Three Rivers, Mich., and was a member of the Red Hat Society, W.C.G. (Women of the Church of God), and the St. Joseph County Genealogical Society.
She was married August 17, 1968, in Sturgis, Mich., to Leonard J. Bauder Sr. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2006.
Surviving are two sons, Gregory (Julie) Roberts, Mottville, Mich., and Mark Roberts, Sturgis, Mich.; three grandchildren; seven stepchildren: Sharon McMullen, Union City, Carol Johnson, Coldwater, Mich., Goldie (Mike) Danberry, Sturgis, Mich., Gail LeCount, Sturgis, Mich., Leonard Bauder Jr., Sturgis, Mich., Lonnie Bauder, Sturgis, Mich., and Dale Bauder, Battle Creek, Mich.; 11 stepgrandchildren, including Leonard (Jenna) Bauder III, White Pigeon, Mich.; several stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, James (Deb) Frye, Wolcottville, and Jeffrey Frye, Sturgis, Mich.; one sister, Jana Sturgil, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, November 24, at Hackman Family Funeral Homes Hackman Chapelin Sturgis, Mich.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 25, at Hackman Family Funeral Homes Hackman Chapelin Sturgis, Mich., with Reverend John McClimans officiating.
Burial will be in Burr Oak Cemetery, Burr Oak, Mich.
